christmas is like… two seconds away!.

i got my new Apple Magic Mouse in the mail today! it’s been sold out in all the apple stores around here for the longest time so i’ve had to order it online… but what’s so cool about it? well… there isn’t one of those scroll ball thingy, you simply use your finger to do it. so it’s kinda like a touch mouse.. and why did i need it? because the annoying scroll ball on my other apple mouse would always get stuck, or would only work half the time, and it’s really annoying when you browse website and need to scroll down the browser bar manually!

and what else is new with me… not much at all. well i’ve found all my christmas presents. i’ve got the one for my dad, the one for my sister, the one for my aunt, and one for my mom. my sister and i are paying half & half on my mom’s one, and on my dad’s one as well. it makes it more convenient that way, you can get something more expensive since you share the cost, and you only need to find one rather than two. it was really hard to find something for my aunt, who’s my godmother, but i finally found one last night. i can probably say it here because i highly doubt she’d read my blog, i don’t even think she uses a computer for more than reading emails, so hereee, i got her a gift certificate at her favorite hair salon! and if you’re looking for a gift for someone and don’t know what to buy, maybe you should get them that! cause think about it… it’s such a good idea, it’s something that the person needs to spend money on anyway… and when it’s already their favorite hair salon, then it’s all perfect!

i have work at 4:30pm today, i hope it won’t be crazy busy! because you know.. christmas is like.. two seconds away. and people are usually very last minute with presents and stuff. and i feel so lazy.. it’s already 1pm and i haven’t done much of my day. i haven’t even showered yet, i’ve just been in my room not doing much at all. but hey! at least i’ve cleaned up my room. so that’s one productive thing. and then i’ve written this blog post. not too bad for a person who happens to be quite lazy!

R.I.P brittany murphy.

she was always one of my favorites, ever since i was a kid. she was always so lovely on screen, and this news was truly shocking to me. i personally find her sudden death to be even more disturbing and unbelievable than michael jackson’s death. so many public figures died in the past year… and for those who haven’t heard, she was apparently found in her shower this morning at 8am by her mother. she died of a cardiac arrest. she was 32. stories like this make us realize how fragile life is, and how much we should cherish every second of it.

christmas tree!!.

my dad and i went to home depot earlier today to get new wallpaper for the kitchen, and we also got a christmas tree! surprisingly enough they even have them at home depot… we were gonna go to those places where they only sell christmas trees, but we decided to just get one at home depot instead, much more convenient and they were really cheap. the one we picked doesn’t even look that bad either! we have to wait a whole day before we decorate it though.. because it was all attached with strings, and apparently you need to let it sit for about 24 hours for the tree to take back it’s regular form. but this is what it looks like right now:

i’ll post a picture of it when it’s all done and prettier. my sister is probably going to decorate it tomorrow night (i work until 9pm tomorrow…) and then wednesday i have my exit test to graduate college. hopefully it will go well, i’m kinda nervous because i’ve been out of school since may… school seems so far behind now, and i have to do the test. i was originally supposed to do it last april or march, but i forgot to sign up for it when we had to… so wish me luck!

oh, and don’t you hate when a song gets stuck in your head intensively? over the past week i’ve had a different song stuck in my head everyday, and randomly today “meet me halfway” by the black eyed peas is all i hear. it’s been out for so long too, i don’t see why i’d have it stuck in my head now..
