lovely little boredom.

is it only me, or has anybody else noticed how boring perezhilton’s website has become the past months? of course, it’s never been the shit, but was always kind of entertaining, and now, even that non-profit livejournal called ohnotheydidnt (click to visit) has become more fun, and the best part? well, they might get all the news from other sources/websites, but they still manage to get everything up days before perezhilton. i’d feel embarassed if i were him, the so-called “queen of media” who can’t even manage to get news up on time. and if you really do read both ohnotheydidnt, and perezhilton, you probably noticed that it really does look like he reads that livejournal himself and simply just steals/takes all his updates from it.

i’m bored, i just woke up from a nap. is it still considered a nap when it was close to two hours long? i’m not sure. i was feeling shitty, i had a headache. i think it’s cause i never wear my glasses when i go to school. or maybe just school gives me headache. i’m happy though, tomorrow i start class at 10:45 instead of 8:30 because we’re going on a field trip with my drawing/painting class. we’re going to a museum i’ve been to bazillion of times, and i have a feeling it will still have the exact same stuff up, but let’s hope it won’t. it’s boring to go see the exact same thing over and over again. i like when museums change their stuff quite often and don’t only have a permanent collection.

in my english class today we watched a few anti-drug videos/commercials from the fifties/sixties and they were so random. it almost looked as if they were actually pro-drug and not against them. and most of them were little set up of a story. like there would be a person telling you about how they started out with marijuana, and while they talk you see little scenes of how it all happened, and then how they got hooked on heroin, and their dealer got arrested and they went nuts because they needed the drug really badly and they were ready to do anything to get more of it whatever what it took, and even if it could lead them to death. how dramatic. i wonder if those videos were actually effective, or if people just watched them to make fun of them.

there’s that new sandwich place by my school, and they have those posters up for it all over the place and they give out flyers. and they offer a fifteen percent discount to students, and i was kind of hungry, so i told myself why not just try it. of course it’s still kinda expansive for a sandwich when you get fifteen percent off of like eight dollars, but the portobello one sounded good. it had green and red bell peppers, and yellow ones too i think, and also goat cheese (and yes people also make cheese out of goat milk, i thought everybody knew that). i get my sandwich at around 1:40, and it took a while to make it since they have to grill it and everything, and the place was kinda busy. i got it to go, and it takes about five minutes to walk back to my school. by 1:50 i was back, and remembered i had a chemistry lab today for that class, and we obviously can’t eat food in the lab so i hurried myself to eat the sandwich in like 3 minutes by my locker and it was kinda big. i still feel sick from it. i don’t know if the sandwich was just bad, or if it’s cause i ate it too fast. it tasted good though.

anyway, enough about sandwiches, i have some homework to get done for tomorrow !

listen to: the horrors – sea within a sea

go away.

go away bad economy. you stress me out. you make me nervous. you make me worry about my future. you make me wonder what is going to happen within the next few years. i don’t want us to go through another bad economic crisis like they did a while ago. it would be awful. i like life the way it was just a few months ago. things need to go back to normal. so please, bad economy, pack up your stuff and leave. you can perhaps go on Mars. i heard there’s life up there, but i don’t believe it for much, so i doubt you will be bothering anyone. heard me? good.

this whole economy thing is seriously stressing me out more and more everyday. some of my favorite magazines are stopping publication, and a lot of people are losing their jobs in thousands of companies. i had a dream last night that my dad had lost his job, and nobody was hiring anymore so he couldn’t find another job and we had to sell our house and move in a studio apartment. it was such a scary dream. i hope it will never happen. my parents never had that much money, so it’s not like i’d be going from gold spoons to nothing at all, but i find that we live just fine the way things are now, and i’m happy with what we have. i still can’t imagine less though. sucks for people who lost millions of dollars with their investments and such.

some economists are even saying that it’s as bad as the crisis in the 1930′s….
perhaps let’s become religious if we aren’t already, and pray every night.

impolite (stop motion).

please press HQ on the bottom of the video player if the video won’t play or if you get a message saying the video has been deleted. but you should watch it in HQ anyway, the quality of both the sound and image will be much better and clearer. this is the video that i have told you about in my latest post. it might look like just a normal video, but it was actually done by stop motion also called frame by frame. if you don’t get what that means, the video is actually hundreds of pictures taken with a digital camera put together. it usually takes a while to create, but the result is usually much more interesting than just a regular video. you get much more of a vintage style video, and if you’ve got a little too much time on your hands you can even mess with people’s mind and create crazy videos using stop motion.

the video is short, but it was the point. it was done for my multimedia creation class, and the teacher wanted the video to be as short as possible. and as i explained before, i had to submit another video for the class since she thought this one was too complex and just wanted a slide show with some panning effects on pictures. i’m pretty satisfied with the video though. i like how much the song matches the video, and it’s funny because we took all the pictures, and worked on the project before even choosing a song for it, and then i happened to find this song on my itunes. i doubt the video would’ve been any good with any other song.

oh, and thank you all for the support, i really appreciate it!
